Hello Happy Stampers!
The beautiful colors in this weeks Pals Paper Arts challenge inspired me to create an ocean themed card. The wavy pattern paper from Cherry on Top was a perfect compliment to the card’s theme.
I stamped the You’re Sublime submarine on to cropped a circle from the Circles Framelits and colored the scene with my Marvelous Markers. I added a Wink of Stella to the port holes and bubbles of hearts. I layered 1/8″ Bermuda Bay stitched ribbon on top of 1/4″ Whisper Whitecotton trim ribbon. I popped the the sentiment using a Crushed Curry itty bitty banner. (I’m so sad to see Bitty Banners framelits retire; but the new array of Framelits and Thinlets featured in the upcoming catalog will know your socks off!
Thanks for stopping by my happy place.
CASE: Copy and Share Everything!
Recently I participated in a Case the “New” Catalog challenge. Being the rebel that I am , I cased a card from the Preorder Project Supply List (which i cannot reveal just yet!)
This was super fun to make. The gold swishes in the background were made by simply swiping Wink of Stella. Using a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge, I added a few splatters. I adhered strips of Pop of Pink DSP behind the Layering Love sentiment. I cropped the squares using the new Layering Squares Framelits. The bling includes gold cording, sequins and a Glimmer paper heart cropped from the Owl Punch.
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think!
On this rainy Sunday afternoon, I’m tucked away in my paper therapy room happily stampin’.
For this weeks Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge by Sandi, I cropped up some of the fabulous Affectionately Yours designer series paper from the soon-to-be-released 2016-17 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog. In lieu of the little banner featured on the sketch, I wrapped a strand of the Cucumber Crush Thick Baker’s Twine (also new!). Both squares were cut from the Layering Squares dies.
Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to hear from you.
Happy Saturday Stampers!
There’s a reason I save little odd shaped pieces and strips of paper. Today’s card is comprised completely of scrap card stock and Pop of Pink designer series paper. It was super easy to create with the help of my Big Shot and the new Layering Squares Framelits (featured in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog). The bold sentiment is from Layering Love and popped up on a scalloped square.
